the same happened to Magnemite when you transferred it from Yellow/Blue/Red to Gold/Silver/Crystal

But Gen I introduced 151 Pokemon. Gen II introduced 100 new Pokemon. Gen III introduced 135 new Pokemon. Gen IV introduced 107 Pokemon. This brought the total to 493. I would guess that they will add another 107 Pokemon, so that the grand total will be 500 Pokemon by Gen V ;D

Apparently the game with the black legendary pokemon is Pokemon white, and the game with the white legendary is Pokemon black, and vice versa according to seribii.net. this really confused me.

the reason they did that is because Zekrom and Reshiram are meant to represent Ying-Yang.
So, Zekrom (black color) goes with the white version
Reshiram (white color) goes with the black version
see what i mean?

I found out that Gen V introduced the most Pokemon EVER. It introduced like 156 or something

Lol. When I first found out about gen V, I thought the colour coded pokemon went with the colour corresponding game! I never thought about it like the yin yang before.

From looking at clips and info about the game, there appears to be one huge city. Is the same town-to-town style exist in black and white?

uhm, no, it is not one big city. there is a metropolitan type city in the game, but the entire game is not like that

It is quite good, with pokemon in the 50's so its not overly easy like hgss

yup, you use something called the "dream world". you can transfer pokes from diamond/pearl, platinum and HG SS
