What will you name your B/W starter?

I am going to get the fire type and name him Hammy (because it is a pig). what will you name yours? if you're not going to name yours, then dont me rude plz.

I give my pokemon official name most of the time, but sometimes I give them one I made up or something that refers to the pokemon itself (e.g. spinarak had a face on its abdomen so I called it Smiley)

So I would name:

grass: Simon.
fire: Peter
water: Anthony.

when I get the grass starter I'll call it Mu-Shu cause I name all dragon-ish/snakes that.

i usually do the same thing as u, crank. except i only name one pokemon based on their appearence - unown. for example, if its an unown A, i name it A. thats the only time i have EVER named one of my pokemon.

really? If I read a book and a random animal in it has a name then I find a poke that looks similar and name it that.

well I am gonna get the Fire one and name it Teruki after my favorite drummer if it's a male, or if it's a female, I might just end up naming her Arcadia, after my favorite japanese song.

I actually dont tend to nickname them...

i do sometimes when it is one of my favorite pokes

i try to rename them if they are the pokemon i will use a lot, or i think they deserve a kickass name
