Well...now that I've been inspired to write poetry again, I guess I'll share some with you ^_^

Rules

1. No spam
2. No irrelevant information/conversations
(No posts that just say, "lol yeah" or something like that.)
3. Constructive Criticism
(If something needs to be corrected in your opinion, feel free to post it, but please tell me why.)
4. Be Kind
(Don't just say that sucked.)
5. No Bullying
(Whether directed at me or other members, I will have NONE of it.)

Well, now that we've got that covered, here's my first poem of the year:

Waiting

Holding hands,
I take your heart.
But with different lands,
You seem to part.
I stand still,
Doing the task,
Challenging my will,
My face now a mask.

Days go by,
I still hear you,
No matter how long I sigh,
The memories are new.


This is still incomplete, but its what I have so far...

EDIT: I finished! =D But I will leave the old one up so that you can compare...

Its very good. I wish I could right like that...

Its very good. Rhyming with so little words is a skill. Keep up the good work ^^

There was a dog who had to poop
Because he ate some bad soup
He sat in the grass
Then licked his own ass

I'm back xD I finally wrote some haikus in Art Tuesday =P Now, haikus do not have to be 5,7,5 structure (as I learned on that same day in my japanese class) - just pointing that out.

Here they are:

bullets fall down
people scatter
I stand - soaked in the early rain

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

cicadas buzzing
I look at you
we need water

staring, staring
no one breathes
laughter fills the room

I never knew that. I liked them....They were.............um..........Interesting!
